I’ve always wanted to tell my story. Problem is, I don’t have one. I live a pretty boring, inconsequential life.
“Then don’t tell a story,” my friend advised. “Tell your stories.”
That’s what these are. My simple stories. A collection of personal essays I’ve written primarily during 2016 and 2017. Where I am and how I got here, with appearances from a bunch of the people that have mattered along the way.
Each has been published to this website, are available as downloadable audio files, and also as a complete collection in both traditional and ebook formats.
Me, I’m not so special. Just some fellow, married to a woman, raising our son and living with our menagerie. We reside in rural Pennsylvania, running a few small businesses and are generally just trying to make our way. So far, so good.
I also love taking photographs and this was as good of an excuse as any to collect a bunch more.
If you read or listen to one or two of these tales, let me just say that I’m completely flattered. Thank you for letting me occupy ten or so minutes of your time. And if you really like a story, maybe you could share it with a friend. For that, I’d be even more grateful.

Also, I talk a lot about woodworking. You can find the things I build over at Rickety Furniture.
